We invite you to join us in a five-year global initiative that will:
- Ensure safe access to information for women and girls in some of the world’s most challenging places
- Empower women by building their leadership in the media, information and communications technology fields
- Improve the information we all consume by promoting more stories produced by, for and about women
At Internews, we have worked for the past three decades to train tens of thousands of women leaders in the media and information sectors.
From Pakistan to South Sudan, we have developed programs that cover under-reported topics and bring women and girls into conversations about the environment, politics, and the economy. These programs, and the women who lead them, are changing local attitudes, impacting policies, and inspiring women and girls around the world to raise their voices and make a difference.
Read the stories of the local voices and local leaders that are inspiring global change.
